“My love for photography
began in May 1982 with the birth of our daughter, Katie and continued
into July 1985 with the birth of our son, Will. Who doesn’t
love taking pictures of their kids?”
Debbie and her family moved from Abilene to Temple, Texas and lived
there for sixteen years and during that time, she worked for Sue Steakley
Stearns, Master Photographer. “Sue continues to be my mentor
and friend!”
“My main hobby for the past several years has been scrapbooking.
What a perfect combination…photography and scrapbooking!”
Debbie and her family moved back to Abilene in the summer of 2003
with an empty nest. “I prayed for God’s direction with
how to use my time and doors started opening for me to continue taking
pictures! So, with the support of my husband, kids and wonderful friends…..Pure
Photography was born!”
“I love taking pictures!
Families, children, babies, seniors, weddings, brides, you name it!
My philosophy is “capture the moment and preserve it forever!”
Debbie is a member of the
Professional Photographers of America and the Texas Professional
Photographers Association.
